Through Rack

　　Definition

　　The through rack is also called drive-in rack. The through rack adopts the pallet storage mode and is suitable for storing a small variety of and a large batch of goods. Except the pallets close to the passage, it is recommended that the pallet depth of the through rack shall not be exceed 7 pallets for single-side delivery as the forklift requires to enter into the rack to store and deliver the goods. To increase the operation speed of the forklift, the guide rail can be configured as the case may be. Compared with the pallet rack, the warehouse space utilization of the through rack (drive-in rack) can be improved by more than 30%. The through rack (drive-in rack) is widely used in the refrigerated warehouse and the food and tobacco industries.

　　The storage capacity of the through rack is almost twice that the ordinary pallet rack in the same space, as the gallery between the racks is canceled, the racks are merged together to cause the same layer and same row of goods are mutually connected, improving the warehouse space utilization rate to the maximum limit.

　　Industrial Standard

　　There is no unified standard for the racks in China. Manufacturers often suffers a lot of waste in material selection and design. Failure of design load and the safety level to conform to the standard sometimes occurs, causing hidden danger in actual operation.

　　Characteristics:

　　1. The pallets are stored one by one in the depth direction on the supporting guide rail, ensuring the high density storage to become possible.

　　2. The goods is stored and delivered from one side by firstly storing and later delivering as well as later storing and firstly delivering. The counterweight and the reach forklift can be conveniently driven among the racks for storing and delivering the goods, and it is unnecessary to occupy many passages.

　　3. This kind of rack is suitable for storing a large batch of and a small variety of goods. Both the bracket and the bracket shelf of the through rack (drive-in rack) adopt the integral stamping / rolling technique, so that the through rack (drive-in rack) has large bearing capacity and beautiful goods appearance.

The through rack adopts the fully spliced assembly structure, the upright adopts the fabricated structure, the total rack depth in the area close to the wall is preferred to be controlled within the depth of 5 pallets, and total rack depth in the middle area that the forklift can go in and come out from two sides is preferred to be controlled within the depth of 10 pallets to improve the storage efficiency and reliability of the forklift.

　　The stability of the through rack system is relatively weak in all types of racks. This rack should not be excessively high, and the strengthening device is required to be added in the system. In this system, the racks are arranged densely, the space utilization rate is extremely high, and this kind of rack is suitable for storing a small variety of and a large batch of same types of goods. The goods can be stored and taken from the same side and can also be stored from one side and taken from the other side.

　　The through rack is mostly used in the food industry such as dairy, beverage, etc. and also used in the refrigerated warehouse.

　　The through rack is a kind of integral rack not divided by the passage; the through rack adopts the pallet storage mode, is suitable for storing the single type of and a large batch of goods.
